The first thing they do to you is force you to go to work, hunting through all that information to find what you're looking for. They have too darn much information in them, and that means there's always some effort you have to make BEFORE you find out what you want to know. There's always something you have to read, or something you have to watch, or something you have to study. As if you don't have enough to do already. But you're plenty busy, and you don't want to add anything else to your to-do list, just like you don't want to go on a diet. In your case, all you really want to know is what bra size is right for you. You don't want to spend an hour or 2 to find out something as simple as that. Why should you, when there's an easier way? Just ask me, and I'll tell you. You don't need to spend hours on something, when I can do it for you in no time at all. Besides the ladies, I have the ladies' husbands and boyfriends and young girls’ fathers call for appointments. These men get so tired of hearing their women complain about their bras, that they literally look me up themselves and make the appointment, or drive their ladies in for me to help them find the right size bra. No matter what country, state or city you may live in, most women who live there just don’t know what a bra is supposed to do, how a bra is supposed to fit, how a bra has been designed, or what bra size is right for them. Estimates are that anywhere from 70% to 80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra, although in my opinion, informed by more than 38 years of experience, it’s more like 90%. And there’s been no reliable source for women to go to and find out the truth about bras, bra measuring and bra sizing, until now. Then on Saturday, since she didn't have to go to work, she put on one of her old bras, and was outside in her front yard when her neighbor walked over, gave her a funny look, and asked her what's going on? So she asked her neighbor what she meant. The neighbor said that all week long she had noticed that my customer looked like she had lost weight, but today she told my customer that she looked a little heavy again. What happened? Laurie told me that my customer started laughing as she told Laurie this. So I told her, she said, that all week long I was wearing my new bras I got from Danese Creations and you thought I looked thinner and now that I'm wearing an old bra you tell me I look fat? That does it. I'm getting rid of all my old bras. Can proper bra sizing help you Some of my customers think so. Some of them have told me that the bra fitting I did for them saved them from the risk and expense of reconstructive surgery.
"Chicken fat" belongs on a bird, Maybe it's called something different where you live, but most women in Phoenix call it chicken fat, and it refers to the dimples and bulges in your skin that show up between your breasts and underarms whenever you put on a strapless gown. Isn't that grand? You want to look your best for your formal occasion, and that's when this stuff shows up. The truth is that's it's always there, but the rest of the world can't see it until you put on your strapless gown. This "stuff" isn't fat, exactly, it's separated breast tissue. It's supposed to be a part of your breast, but it's gone off wandering below the underarm. And you got it by wearing the wrong size bra. How did the wrong size bra give you chicken fat? It's simple, really. A breast may look and feel like one solid unit, but it's not. It's a collection of cells and stuff that's held together by our skin. If we wanted to, we could actually massage our boobs and break up and push out some of that stuff. That's more or less what the wrong size bra does over time--it keeps our skin from doing it's job, it causes our breast muscles to stretch, weaken, and pull apart. You can go to the gym to try and get rid of this. You can even have it cut off. Neither of those is the best solution. Having it surgically removed will work temporarily, but if you keep wearing the wrong size bra, it will return sooner or later. Trying to work it off at the gym will give you a bigger back, bigger arms--and if that's what you want, that's fine. But there's no gym equipment that will exercise the breast muscles the right way. If you are small busted or have enhanced boobs and think you don’t need a bra, think again. Just like the big boob gals, you have your own unique problems and I’ll address them all in My Bra Size Secrets. When it comes to bras, 90% of women are wearing the wrong size. I’ve said this before, and it’s the only thing that all the “experts” get right. What’s more, just about all of the women who are wearing the wrong size bra are way, way off the mark. Just about all of them are stunned when they see the size that I show them is right for them. They don’t believe it at first—I see the disbelief in their eyes. But after I’ve shown them what size they should be in, and how to put it on, and they see for themselves and feel for themselves how much better it is than the bra they wore into my shop—even if they came in with a brand new bra—there’s no going back. If the “experts” don’t know how to measure correct bra size, how can you be expected to know yourself? Old family secrets I’ve known all about bras ever since I was 12 years old. Not because I was so smart back then, but because that’s how old I was when I got boobs and my mother taught me all her secrets—how to find my bra size, and how to put it on the right way. I always thought that all mothers taught their daughters about bras the same way that my mother taught me. But I found out through the years that most mothers didn’t have the right information to pass along. Most mothers just don’t know about bras the way I do, the way my mother does. What made my mother different was that she had some specialized knowledge that most other mothers didn’t have—and still don’t have. I’m a tailor, my mother is a tailor and my grandmother was a tailor, working at her trade just about the time that the first modern bras came on the market. With her knowledge of how clothes are made, how fabric is cut to fit around the curves and shape of a woman’s body, it was easy for my grandmother to understand the art and science behind how bras were designed to work. And it’s not rocket science, it’s just the art and science of clothing design and tailoring. I just don’t know why other “experts” haven’t been able to figure this out, but they haven’t. Our Internet searches proved that the "experts" still don't have a clue when it comes to determining bra size. Do Bra Size Calculators Work? On February 29, 2008, I did a Google search for "bra size calculators" and then I tested all of those on the left side of page one. There were 9 sites there with a bra size calculator, that lets you type in your under bust and over bust measurements and in 2 to 3 seconds it gives you a bra size. It's fast, it's free, and it's WRONG. For each calculator I typed in 31 under bust and 36 over bust. 8 of the 9 calculators came up with the wrong size bra for those measurements, and the average mistake was off by 4 band sizes AND 4 cup sizes. The average mistake was way, way, way, way, WAAAAYYY off! Fitting a bra is more of an art than a science, so there's always going to be some acceptable variation. 1 size this way, 1 size that way, is no big deal. But a total of 8 sizes off? That's like going to a shoe store needing a 7 1/2 shoe, and the clerk comes out with a 10 and a 5 and says, "Let's give these a try". You'd wonder if the clerk had any idea what he was doing. I believe that the owners of websites with bra size calculators don't really know anything about bra fittings. They've just got hold of some information and they're using it because, well, because they simply don't know any better. Another net search gets... On March 30, 2008, at 7 pm Arizona time, I did another net search. I googled "how to measure for a bra." Out of the 10 listings on page 1, 8 of them were wrong. Is it any wonder, then , that the vast majority of women are wearing the wrong size bra? If the "experts" don't know themselves, where can the average woman go to find out what bra size is right for her? The answer is the average woman will have a difficult time finding out what bra size she needs, but you found the answer when you found My Bra Size Secrets. And 1 Year Later, you still can't find the right information searching for "bra size calculator" On April 22, 2009, 7:40 PM Arizona time, I decided to check again and do another Google search for "bra size calculator." The results that came up on the left side of the page looked a little different than they did 1 year ago. There were still 9 bra size calculators that came up, but 3 of them were using the exact same page for the "bra size calculator," and the one website that had good information a year ago was no longer on page 1, for whatever reason I don't know. This time I used 30 inches for the under bust measurement, and 34 inches for the over bust measurement. And just like 12 months ago, the average recommendation from these "b.s." calculators was off by 4 band sizes AND 4 cup sizes. One of the calculators was truly unique, giving me a band size that was 6 sizes off, giving me no cup size at all, and even suggesting that a woman with those measurements didn't even need a bra! Out of the 10 listings on page 1 of this search, the only listing that was helpful was the very last one, which referred women to an article I had published a year ago in EzineArticles.com, which also can be found here. Make friends with your bra If you’re like most women, you’ve probably wondered at some point in your life why it is that no one has invented a better bra, a nice bra. A bra that not only feels good but supports, too. The truth is that the modern bra is here to stay because it truly is one of the best friends a girl ever had. It can make us look good, it can make us look younger, and it can help us avoid the neck, back and shoulder pain all of us would have if we didn’t wear a bra.
