Imagine how great you'll look in your own custom tux, your own custom garment, designed by you, and you're the
only one who's got one.

You could have a story
like this one.

At an auction last night, I went up against some of the biggest and best known billionaires at a Palm Beach ball for St. Judes. One of them was Mr. Simon Fireman who made his fortune from toys. He gives away amounts of $10,000.00, $100,000.00, or more like pocket change.

The auction was for a diamond bracelet worth $75000.00 at retail prices.Just before it went up for auction, my wife excused herself to the ladies room. So I decided that this would be the ideal time to give her a big surprise.

The bid started at $2500.00. People kept bidding it higher, until Mr. Fireman came in and bid it at $19,500.00. I then came in and bid it at $20,000.00 - watching what other people were doing. He bided $20,500.00 - I bided $25,000.00. He turned around and saw me wearing my Rhinestone Tuxedo with my Cowboy hat. He stopped bidding, I bought.

Fireman then came up to me and introduced himself.  Of course, I had no idea who he was. He asked me how much.  I indicated that it was not for sale. He then asked me where I was from.  I said I live here in town. I then asked him where he was from. He never replied, just introduced himself and said it was a pleasure to meet me and bided me a good night.

Someone then came up to me, another billionaire I am assuming, as he was giving away money left right and centre also. He said, "Do you know what you just did and to whom?" I indicated to him, no I didn't, but that he was some old guy with the name Fireman and he probably has more money than he knows what to do with. I told this guy that  I brought my American Express Black Card with me and it appears Mr. Fireman forgot his at home.  I left it like that with this other guy and bided him a good night without introduction.  I walked away and about 20 people gave me the DO YOU KNOW WHO THAT WAS ! LOOK. I just smiled.

My wife then comes back from the ladies room. I had asked the lady who was wearing it, showing it off at the auction to slip it on my wife when she returned. Needless to say my wife was astonished that I had done such a thing.  I think this was the most expensive ladies room trip of the year that anyone in the country has taken.

The music was crappy, but needless to say, as we exited the ballroom, people were still coming up to introduce themselves to me left and right. I literally had most of the 400 people in the room wondering WHO I WAS, and what seemed to be about half wanting to meet me. It was the most fun I've had since Trump came up and introduced himself to me at another one of these shindigs a few weeks back.

I love all the tuxes I've gotten from you, Scylvia. Thanks a heap.

About those tuxes

The tux Jim's wearing with his wife, and the one he's wearing with Donald Trump, is a custom western tux, black wool with a burgundy/brown lame, cut in my own original western design.

Jim's wearing his favorite tux in the picture with Frank Gifford. It's black wool with Sterling Silver pinstripes, the same original western design in gray satin, with rhinestones and Swarovsky crystals.

The US Flag tux is Jim's most ornate, most colorful tux to date. 100% of the flag is either bugle beads or Swarovsky crystals.
